ENGLISH SKILLS: SPEAKING & WRITING

English skills: Speaking and writing focuses on the use of English for social and academic. It attempts to develop the students' abilities in two language skills; speaking and writing.

With this aim in mind, the writers decided on an activity-based approach that will involve learners in using the language through the two skills. The keyword here is use, The activities within each subtopic are geared towards making the learners use whatever language resource they have to tackle the tasks set.

Through these activities, it is hoped that learners will be able to overcome their fears and develop their confidence in using English.
